Pizza
Base:
2 cups Flour
1 sachet Yeast
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
180-200ml Warm water
Method:
1. Place 1 ½ cups of the flour into a bowl and stir in salt, sugar and yeast.
2. Pour in warm water and mix with a metal spoon into a soft dough
3. Sprinkle remaining flour onto bench and turn dough onto flour, keeping hands and dough floury knead the dough for 3-4 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Leave to prove while preparing topping ingredients.
Tomato Paste:
½ Onion (finely chopped)
½ can Tomatoes (chopped)
½ tsp Mixed herbs
Method:
1. Cook all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat until soft.
Topping:
¼ Green Capsicum
¼ cup Pineapple (crushed)
2 Mushrooms
3 slices Ham
1 cup Mozzarella (grated)
¼ Onion
2 slices Salami
Olives,Basil,Oregano (optional)
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 220C.
2. Roll out base to fit greased pizza tray.
3. Spread tomato paste over base and sprinkle toppings over evenly, spreading right to the edges.
4. Cook pizza for about 20 – 30 minutes until all of the cheese is completely melted and beginning to brown even in the centre.
