Cornish Pasties
1 Quantity Shortcrust Pastry
100g Beef Steak (diced)
¼ Potato (diced)
¼ Small Onion (diced)
¼ Small Turnip (diced)
¼ Carrot (diced)
Salt and Pepper
2 tsp Parsley (chopped)
¼ Cup Milk (for Glazing)
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 220C.
2. Dice vegetables and meat and mix together with parsley and salt and pepper
3. Roll out pastry into two large circles, use a small plate as a template if necessary.
4. Divide mixture between the two circles and brush edges with milk, join edges and pinch to create seam.
5. Place onto greased tray and brush with milk.
6. Place in 220C oven for 10-15 minutes, then reduce heat to 190C for a further 15-20 minutes.
