Baked Apple Pancake
1/4 cup Flour
1/4 cup Milk
Dash Salt
3 Eggs (separated)
2 Tbs Margarine
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
3 large Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored and sliced 1/2cm thick)
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180°. Place 20cm cake tin in oven to preheat.
2. Beat egg whites until stiff.
3. Mix flour, milk, salt and egg yolks in separate bowl. Then gently fold egg white mixture in.
4. Sauté apples, sugar, margarine and cinnamon in fry pan for 2-3 minutes until apples are well coated.
5. Pour apples into heated glass pie dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the batter over apples slices.
6. Bake for 20 minutes at 180° until the pancake is brown and puffy.
7. Remove from oven and loosen sides. Place a round plate over glass pie dish and flip over.
8. Cut the pancake in wedges and serve.
