Fettucini Carbonara
1 Tbs Butter
3 rashers Bacon (chopped)
1 Egg
100ml Cream
25g Parmesan (finely grated)
Black pepper
1 qty One egg pasta
Method:
1. Heat a knob of butter in a small frying pan and cook the bacon for 5-7 minutes until golden. Beat together the egg, cream, most of the parmesan and plenty of ground black pepper.
2. Cook the fettuccini drain and return to the pan, off the heat. Add the bacon and egg mixtures and toss together until the pasta is evenly coated.
3. Divide between two bowls then scatter the rest of the parmesan over, with a grinding of black pepper to serve. Serve with Garlic Bread and Side Salad.
